Dear friends,
I greet you this week from New Jersey where I am visiting friends and relatives, seeing all sorts of doctors (the ravages of aging), attending professional meetings, and packing up more chazerai for the trip back to Florida. Chris and I will be back on December 19th in time to spend Shabbat and the beginning of Hanukkah with our congregational family at the JCC.
In the meantime, you are in the good spiritual hands of Eileen Hochstadt who will be leading services tonight at 7:30 pm and delivering a very meaningful d'var Torah on Parashat Vayishlach which compares Jacob's and our other Patriarchs and Matriarchs struggles with our own; and Elliot Shapiro who will be leading Saturday morning services at 9:30 am.
Eileen will be teaching her introductory Hebrew class at 11 am on Sunday. If you are in town, please help us make a minyan at our Shabbat services and continue to enjoy Eileen's class on Sunday.
